💍 Ultrahuman Ring PRO Announced: First Impressions, Price, Discount Code, and What We Still Don’t Know

On February 27, 2026, Ultrahuman unveiled the Ultrahuman Ring PRO – the third generation of its smart ring. It promises up to 15 days of battery life, new hardware, and a PRO Charging Case included in the box. What do we know, what don’t we know yet, and is upgrading from the Air worth it?

💍 Ultrahuman Ring PRO Announced: First Impressions, Price, Discount Code, and What We Still Don’t Know
Ultrahuman PRO – Are you ready?

So it’s finally happened. Ultrahuman has officially unveiled the Ring PRO – the third generation of its smart ring. I wrote about this moment back in November 2025, when it was still up in the air. Now we have quite a few things officially confirmed — and still plenty of question marks.

Let’s go through what we know, what we don’t know yet, and what to make of it.

⚖️ Why PRO? The Context

The Ring PRO is a long-expected step after two years with the Air model — but let’s be honest, it’s also a legally redesigned product aimed at returning to the U.S. market. The patent battle with Oura Ring ended with a sales ban on the Air in the United States.

In recent years, Ultrahuman has also struggled with hardware quality. A portion of Ring Air units suffered from manufacturing defects, return rates were above average, and some user trust took a hit. To their credit, the company handled warranty claims without major issues — but reputational scars remain.

The Ring PRO is an opportunity to write a new chapter — and to prove that manufacturing quality can finally match the product’s ambitions.

💳
I’m not entirely sure whether it’s intentional, but my discount code ▶️ “FITNESATOR” works for both the AIR and the PRO.

However, the U.S. market is not open yet. The Ring PRO is launching globally, with the exception of the United States. Ultrahuman clearly still has some legal paperwork to sort out.

✅ What We Know

🔋 15 days of battery life. This is the central headline number of the entire launch. Chill mode 15 days (less frequent HR/HRV sampling, no Stress Rhythm), Turbo mode 12 days (more frequent sampling, detailed stress graphs).

Currently, the best battery life in the smart ring category is held by RingConn Gen 2 — and the Ring PRO is expected to challenge it, or possibly surpass it outright. Two weeks of battery life could be a genuinely strong selling point. We’ll also have to see how the battery degrades over time…

🛠️ Hardware. Titanium unibody, redesigned PPG architecture — and here’s my note: this sensor-layer redesign is likely primarily the result of the need to work around a disputed patent from Oura, not just a desire for a better signal. A dual-core processor with on-chip ML sounds… marketing-friendly — we’ll see how it performs in reality.

One more thing: Ring PRO comes with ProRelease Technology — meaning the ring can be cut off more easily if necessary (finger swelling, injury). I’m not sure how difficult that was with the Air, but I do know that a stuck ring is a very real problem — I’ve experienced it myself.

Stuck ring

Ultrahuman also mentions 250 days of memory. That said, I’d really welcome it if Ultrahuman finally enabled offline Bluetooth syncing without an internet connection. That’s still not possible — the ring requires internet access to sync.

Colors: Bionic Gold, Space Silver, Aster Black, Raw Titanium.
Sizes: 5–14.

Ultrahuman’s classic color palette.

📦 PRO Charging Case – magnetic charging similar to RingConn Gen 2. Ultrahuman is switching to magnetic attachment (UltraSnap). RingConn has worked like this for years and I have no issue with it. An important detail: Ring Air tended to heat up quite a bit during wireless charging in its ring dock — magnetic contact generates less heat, which should benefit battery longevity in the long run. The case also adds its own battery for up to 45 days, Find My Case with a built-in speaker, and Qi charging. Oura doesn’t offer anything like this.

🤖 Jade AI. An ambitious claim: AI that not only reads data but can intervene in real time. Especially within an ecosystem of multiple data sources (blood tests from Blood Vision, CGM M1, HRV, Home), the concept makes sense to me — the more context, the more relevant the output. How it performs in practice remains to be seen.

Best Smart Ring: AI 🤖
AI is becoming a big part of our lives and has now reached smart rings too. In this article, I compare 9 devices – from Whoop and Oura to Amazfit Helio – and their AI features like chatbots, personalized tips, or blood test analysis. Is there potential?

🔌 PowerPlugs. AFib Detection, Caffeine Window, Respiratory Health, Cycle & Ovulation Pro — these are the established staples. Newly added are GLP-1 tracking and Migraine Insights.

❓ What We (Don’t) Know – Updated

Dimensions – answered. An Ultrahuman moderator on Reddit confirmed that the Ring PRO is ~2.65 mm thick (compared to ~2.4 mm for the Air). So it’s slightly thicker — but the difference is subtle. Considering that the PRO houses a 15-day battery, that’s actually a pretty solid result. It hasn’t gotten thinner, but it’s far from a catastrophic increase either. I’m curious to see a real-world comparison.

Sizing kit – answered. Ring PRO uses the same sizing system as the Air (5–14). If you know you wear Air size 9, you order PRO size 9. No new sizing kit is needed.

💰 Ultrahuman Ring PRO Price and Comparison with Oura Ring 4

Ultrahuman PRO costs $479. The ring is currently in pre-order, with shipping starting April 30, 2026. Availability is global — excluding the U.S.

The Air was around $350 — so this is a noticeable jump. For context…

Oura Ring 4 in Europe ranges from €399 to €549 depending on the color — and their charging dock is sold separately for $99. And that’s not even counting the subscription, which Oura charges after the first free year at $5.99/month.

Rough cost comparison over 2 years:

Ultrahuman Ring PRO Oura Ring 4 (base)
Ring $479 €399
Charging case Included ✅ €99 separate
Subscription (Year 2) $0 ~€72
Total ~2 years ~$479 ~€570

Trade-in for the Air (or another ring) gives you an additional discount of up to $115 → bringing the effective price down to as low as $364.

🏁 Verdict

Honestly? Ring PRO reminds me a bit of Oura Ring 4 — there wasn’t a huge wow moment there either. An evolutionary step, improved hardware (?), higher price, but no feature that would break the internet.

On the other hand: 15 days of battery life sounds like more than 14 days. And the PRO Case is something competitors don’t typically offer.

So let’s wait for the real verdict.
